It begins with the body.
Although movement might not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering "acting classes," it is a crucial element of an actor's training. The body is the vessel through which behavior is displayed, and simply put, it never lies. This is why developing the body as a tool for the expression of a character’s circumstance, journey, or energy is essential.
At its most basic, an established practice in movement allows for freedom in acting and the endurance to meet the demands of various roles and performances. Beyond physical conditioning, movement provides the necessary tools for transformation and opens access to an expansive imagination and emotional life.
Beginning transformation.
While our approach to acting training is different from most studios in the area, our ongoing classes are dedicated to expanding the tools for an actor’s process, encouraging a deeper, fuller, and richer craft.
The journey starts here.
